So... I have not done so great of a job keeping up with this blog, but I figured late is better than never. Here are some peeks of some projects I forgot to post about...
I published a children's book!! It is available for purchase on blurb.com. Check out my texts page for a link!
I am in the midst of a new performance piece!!!
It started with me building a house... A small house. The most Mia-esque house I could make.
And now I'm going to do as much "living" as I can in it for the next few days... feel free to visit me in my newest residence located in the lovely neighborhood that is the List Art Center basement! We'll have a tiny house-warming party!
My brilliant, talented, and hilarious friend Kathy wrote and directed a play- it's called Silly Sort of Thing! I was honored in that she asked me to design and paint the costumes! What a fun and successful venture! Congrats to Kathy, the cast, and the crew on a great production!
Great News! I have received a grant to write, illustrate, and independently publish a children's book from the Saint Anthony Hall Educational Fund! Thanks so much St. A's!!!
Come see me perform my piece Salt Trail at the Brown University 2015 Student Exhibition on April 11, 2015 from 7-9 pm at the David WInton Bell Gallery in List Art Center, 64 College St., Providence, RI. The remnants of the performance will be left as an installation in the show from April 10 to 25, 2015.
